Victorian Correspondence is made by Spaikz LLC. This page says what the app does with your information. It is short, because the app does very little.

What we collect

Nothing. There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no server of our own beyond the one that sends you the files. We do not collect, transmit or store any personal information, and we could not identify you if we wanted to.

Where your work lives

Which letters you have mastered, which model letters you have copied, your paper, pen, ink and wax, the view from your desk and the name you sign with are all kept in your own browser's local storage, on your own device. They are never uploaded. Clearing your browser's data for this site deletes them, and nothing anywhere else changes.

Analytics and advertising

There are none. No analytics, no advertising, no crash reporter, no third-party trackers, no cookies of ours at all — which is also why you were not asked to accept any.

The one request that goes elsewhere

This is worth stating plainly rather than burying. Both this page and the app load their typefaces from Google Fonts, so Google's servers see that a browser asked for a font file, along with whatever a browser normally sends when it asks — including your IP address. We receive none of that and have no account with it.

That is the only request either makes to anybody other than our own host. If it matters to you, a content blocker that blocks fonts.googleapis.com leaves the app entirely usable: the writing itself is drawn from pen strokes rather than set in a typeface, so the part you came for does not depend on the fonts at all.

Purchases

There are none. Nothing in the app is for sale, there is no premium tier, and there is no payment processor involved at any point.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages, collects nothing from anybody, carries no advertising and has no way to communicate with anyone else, so there is no personal information of a child for us to hold.

Changes

If a future version ever adds accounts, a server or anything that leaves your device, this page will be updated before that version ships and the app will say what changed.
